The end of year is a brilliant time to review original goals and reflect! For each goal write down your successes and disappointments, what you feel proudest of and what needs more work.
Make a list of ten key strengths and go over the list and place a tick by each of the areas you think you have improved upon. Reflect upon the goals you have made since January, visualize the person you were when you started this process and visualize the person you are now. Make a note of where the two differ and where you have grown. This way you can identify ways you still have to develop and then you have the chance to really grow next year.
Next write a few goals for next year and as you are writing, remember to make a note of all the things you have learned about yourself this year. What are the best ways to get yourself moving? What is the right number of days/weeks/months to make that goal/objective a reality? What will you do differently next year?
Lastly – please make a point to celebrate your achievements this year with a reward, and go into the new year feeling more positive than ever. Remember the successes you have in life were not by chance and that you have designed and architected this reality.
